Accessible Parking
The White River State Park underground garage offers ADA compliant designated parking spaces with signage on both levels. For raised roof vans, the upper level of the garage can accommodate a height of eight feet and the lower level can accommodate seven feet. If there are special circumstances that do not allow for an individual to walk from the garage to the main entrance of the Hall of Champions or the Conference Center, please call 317-917-6404 or 317-917-6084 to discuss other potential options.
Wheelchair Access
The museum and conference center are accessible to wheelchair users and other visitors who may need to avoid stairs. A power door is located at the entrance. An elevator that is ADA compliant is available with access to all floors. The restrooms in the museum and conference center are also ADA compliant. Wheelchairs are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis.
Hearing and/or Visually Impaired
Many of the stories in the Hall of Champions are written. ASL interpretation for tours is available with notice. Please call 317-917-6404 seven or more days in advance of your visit to make arrangements.
Trained service animals are welcome in the museum and conference center. Braille signage is located at the elevators and restrooms.
Other Services
An accessible drinking fountain is located on the first floor of the museum. An accessible water cooler with cups is located on the second floor.
There is a first aid kit available at the admissions desk of the museum. There is also a first aid kit located at the security desk in the conference center.
